The Theras Group overcomes critical issues affecting the health sector thanks to SAP S/4HANA

Theras Group has chosen a cloud ERP

First founded in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR) by a team of professionals, Theras Group is now an established company with an annual turnover of 138 million euro that designs, develops and sells medical equipment, providing state-of-the art solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of major chronic conditions such as pain and diabetes. The Group's roots are Italian, but it has an international outreach.

Theras is a member of the Medical Device Trade Association and is the only Italian company that, along with European, clinical, industrial and political stakeholders, has been invited onto the task force set up by the European Parliament to promote essential actions to transform the management of diabetes and expand the availability of technologically advanced devices.

An intrinsic calling towards innovation has led the Group to review its current management system and abandon a legacy solution in favour of RISE with SAP S/4HANA.

RISE whit SAP S/4HANA on Azure

The technology partner of the Exprivia, project started in 2022, to support the customer in the implementation of RISE with SAP S/4HANA on Azure platform with a greenfield approach, i.e. an implementation model from scratch that facilitates change, allowing existing processes to be redesigned and simplified, and migration objects to be predefined by applying a set of best practices.

The project, and its integration with various departmental systems (including the Salesforce), is part of a broader in-depth redesigning and change management process.>

More than 70 users belonging to different operating sectors are involved in the re-engineering process: these include production planning, Quality management, Order to cash, Procure to Pay (Acquisitions and Logistics), Financial Accounting and Controlling.

In this scenario, Exprivia, in its capacity as an added value partner, worked alongside the Theras Group on all aspects concerning all required system integration activities.

Since January 2023, Theras' SAP S/4HANA system has been live in 'big bang' mode with its application processes to ensure business operations.
