SMART - System for Matching And Ranking Talents
Objective: To optimise the recruitment process through an HR Intelligence solution that integrates no-code BPM workflow engines and AI agents to identify the best talent in an increasingly competitive job market.
Project abstract
The SMART project stems from the need to optimise the staff selection process, where time and recruitment quality are key factors in identifying and hiring the best talent on the job market.
Currently, candidate assessment is carried out manually, based on the recruiter’s experience and for a single job position. The current approach is slow, labour-intensive and can lead to bias and inaccuracies in the final assessments. Furthermore, it does not allow for the candidate’s suitability to be assessed across multiple roles. Consequently, this entails a high risk of incorrect assessments, as well as the possibility of false positives and false negatives.
Added to this is the use of multiple software tools, which hinder the sharing and tracking of information between recruiters, hiring managers and candidates.
The SMART platform integrates a no-code BPM (Business Process Management) solution for the digital modelling and execution of the entire recruitment process, orchestrating the activities and interactions of HR stakeholders. Unlike vertical solutions, SMART guarantees flexibility and full integration with the existing organisational context.
A multi-agent system based on AI HR agents enables the rapid and simultaneous assessment of candidates during the Screening, Job-Matching and Ranking phases.
The analysis of a candidate considers not only the content of their CV, such as skills, work experience and academic background, but also additional information such as their LinkedIn professional profile, publicly available information online, certifications and qualifications, as well as hard and soft skills validated through pre-questionnaires and interviews. All of this is compared with the ideal profile specified in the job role in a fair and impartial manner.
HR agents operate using a human-AI symbiotic approach, providing suggestions, feedback and explainability of results to support recruiters’ decisions. In this way, humans and AI work side by side, with both parties learning from and adapting to one another.
Expected benefits:
- Automated collection of CVs from multiple data sources
- Reduction in CV analysis time
- Reduction in the loss of suitable candidates
- Overall reduction in time-to-hire
- Greater accuracy in job matching
- Optimisation of recruitment costs
- Improvement of the Candidate Experience
Expected results:
HR Intelligence software prototype comprising the following modules: (i) User Interface; (ii) Data collection and management; (iii) Data Processing and Analytics; (iv) AI Engine & HR Agents; (v) No-Code BPM Workflow
Technical report through project deliverables
Dissemination and publication of results through events, conferences and scientific articles
