We showcase a live demonstration in the Industry 4.0 field on “Interconnected production machines and Industrial IoT”: the machines are interconnected with the rest of the factory and with information systems. Cisco Kinetic platform completes the network infrastructure by offering the aggregation of all the data collected and enabling the exchange of bi-directional information. At the same time, machine data can be integrated, correlated and processed to create additional, innovative, business applications that leverage mobile technologies, big data analytics and machine learning algorithms through the SAP Cloud Platform. End to end integration allows factories to automate tasks and improve overall operational efficiency.
