The workshop “Targets for 2030: Italian industry in action!” organised by Monitor PEC offers an opportunity for Italy's leading energy and environmental groups to discuss how the ambitious targets of the Integrated National Plan for Energy and Climate are transforming the operations and strategies of their businesses. The seminar is held on 4 October in Milan from 9:00 to 14:00 in Sala Bramante of Palazzo delle Stelline.
The main topics of interest include investments in grid parity renewables, the evolution of the energy efficiency market, the decommission of fossil fuel-based power stations, the role of energy storage, the future of the energy infrastructure and electric mobility.
Luca Ferraris, Head of Innovation, Marketing & Technology, will take part in the second panel discussion entitled “Technological innovation and the circular economy to promote decarbonisation” scheduled for 10:20. During this session, senior management figures of mobility, environmental services and ICT operators will discuss the technological and cultural revolutions currently affecting their respective sectors. Particular attention will be given to potential new business opportunities for operators, to possible models to tackle these and to the development of new synergies.
