ForITaal 2020 - 11° Italian Forum of Ambient Assisted Living
1 December 2020, virtual session

01 December 2020

Annual appointment organised by the University of Padua with the focus of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL).
The AAL promotes patient care at home according to its Clinical Path, and it’s a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure that is increasingly gaining ground thanks to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge-Computing that can detect deviations from the patient's Clinical Path and avoid the processing of inconsistent or falsified data, which could be a serious threat to the patient's life.

Exprivia participates at this event presenting in Poster Session the following article :
• "An Edge Ambient Assisted Living Process for Clinical Pathway". Authors: Carmelo Ardito and Tommaso Di Noia of the Polytechnic University of Bari, Corrado Fasciano, Domenico Lofù, Giulio Mallardi, Nicola Macchiarulo, Andrea Pazienza and Felice Vitulano from Exprivia, with the collaboration of the University of Bari Aldo Moro..
• "Paving the Way to a Robotic Helper - A Case for Dance-Based Rehab Therapy".
