A territory is not just a geographical definition but an economic, cultural and social fabric that must be considered as a modern community that is always evolving, in which the company, the public administration and the individual user can take advantage of the common goal of growth.

Software is no longer a standard product entrusted to the user, therefore potentially undersized or oversized, but a series of possibilities in which the user chooses services according to his needs. The digitally oriented cultural/economic model is enhanced, since the benefit for the user is so important that his propensity for technology will increase proportionately.

The Puglia digitale 2.0 project aims to transform existing software, catalog the macro business components and provide new solutions as a service via the web according to the cloud computing (SaaS) model.

The stages of the project include the dissemination of know-how on the concept of SaaS, the definition of business models, the definition of a SaaS architecture dedicated to the territory, the construction of a common SaaS platform with the transformation of traditional software into SaaS service, the cataloguing of SaaS business environments, such as:

  • PAL (eGovernment Open Data) objects;
  • mobility services;
  • Ambient Assisted Living;
  • services for tourism and cultural fruition;
  • Green Energy Management Services.

Puglia@Service. Anticipate user needs

The Puglia Digitale project is closely connected to the Puglia@Service project that stems from the “living lab” thinking, in which the development directives are dictated by the concrete analysis of the customer’s uses. We are therefore in the field of Service Science that revolutionizes the traditional development models of the territory and gives the final recipient a central role that anticipates his involvement. The result is an internet-based service engineering, which researches methods of scientific analysis for the design, production and delivery of innovative services. Among the objectives of the Puglia@Service project, it is important to verticalize services for Digital Marketing and e-commerce on the VINCENTE platform on the WINNING platform.

VINCENTE, the company and the territory

Erasmus of Rotterdam would probably have written “In Praise of the Square” today. The collective intelligence of the business protagonists, with their contribution provided through the telematic marketplace, is in fact the ideal tool for business attentive to sustainability and market risks.

The VINCENTE research project aims to create a methodological platform of services for the creation of ecosystems for sustainable entrepreneurship, based on techniques, tools and services to support the development of skills and the use of knowledge present in social networks and useful for supporting problem solving and strategic decisions. The project involves the creation of an infrastructure that integrates heterogeneous and distributed information sources (internal and external, open and closed, structured and unstructured) and semantic content management. VINCENTE is intended to support companies in the area with all the Artificial Intelligence services intended for the development of competitiveness and market presence such as Business Intelligence (Visual Analytics) and Market Analysis (Opinion Mining, Competitive Intelligence, Sentiment Analysis).
