A escuela de software: la fundación ITS Rossellini inicia el primer curso de Analista de Medios Digitales Java 4.0 en colaboración con Exprivia | Italtel (versión inglés)

New opportunities for higher education in Rome for high-school and university graduates thanks to the training course for computer programmers. Applications due by 28 October.

A new training course for young IT professionals is being offered in Rome by the Foundation ITS Roberto Rossellini, Superior Technical Institute for Communication and Information Technologies, in collaboration with Exprivia|Italtel - the international group specialised in Information and Communication Technology.

The Digital Media JAVA Analyst 4.0 course lasts two years and aims to train young computer programming professionals by creating a link between the knowledge of JAVA software development and traditional databases with the recent developments arisen within Industry 4.0 in the context of Big Data and Cloud technologies. As well as presenting themselves to the job market as Senior Technical JAVA Programmer Analysts, the Digital Media JAVA Analyst 4.0 professional will have skills in the interactive and multimedia communication language specific to User Experience and User Interface.

The training course was conceived by the Foundation ITS Roberto Rossellini, a training institute focused mainly on activities related to film, television and new media production, and on communication and information services, and was co-designed with Exprivia|Italtel, a group with about 4,000 professionals located in about 20 countries worldwide. The course includes 1,800 hours divided between lessons with university professors and professionals, to be held in Rome in Via di Sant'Alessandro 8 (at UniCamillus University) and experiential workshops and/or internships directly in the Roman branches of the Exprivia | Italtel Group.

Domenico Favuzzi, head of the Exprivia | Italtel Group, says, "The creation of a high-level ICT training course in Rome represents another step in the hiring process envisaged by our Industrial Plan. In fact, we believe that investing in training is the best way to acquire young talents. Digital can play a very important role in supporting the economy, and the partnership with the Foundation ITS Roberto Rossellini aids in reducing the gap between labour demand and supply which, unfortunately, characterises the IT sector”.

The course is open to young high school and university graduates interested in working in the world of software development. Once the training course is completed, the participants will receive a 'Superior Technician Diploma' recognised by the MIUR (Ministry of Education, Universities and Research) and specialised certificates for the programming skills acquired, with the possibility of recruitment in the Exprivia | Italtel Group.

The course is reserved for 25 participants who have passed the entry selection. Those interested must submit an application by registering on the website of the Foundation ITS Roberto Rossellini by 28 October 2019.
