Needs

The solidarity project to support Public Administrations to cope with the Covid-19 emergency was born from the collaboration between QuestIT and Exprivia.
To face this difficult moment that is involving Italy together, we also wanted to make a solidarity contribution, supporting Public Administrations with a free service dedicated to citizens to be always updated and informed on current ministerial regulations.

It is with these objectives that the RITA project was born , the intelligent virtual assistant active 24/7 to provide information on the ministerial regulations reported in the Prime Ministerial Decree of 11 March 2020, the #IoRestoaCasa.

Our initiative, born in collaboration with QuestIT, has already been joined by the municipalities of Bari, Mola di Bari, Palermo, Lecce, Taranto, Molfetta, Gioia del Colle, Taranto, Vibo Valentia and Martina Franca, integrating the online system. The virtual assistant, free and active for the duration of the emergency, listens to users’ questions through voice interaction or typing from the keyboard, analyzes the request and provides in real time all the information available on the ministerial regulations contained in the decree and regulated in the municipality of reference.

What the virtual assistant does

The system does not provide medical or health diagnoses, but releases information on the guidelines contained in the Prime Ministerial Decree of 11 March 2020 #IoRestoaCasa: for example, how to download the self-certification form, when it is allowed to leave the house, which shops are open, what are the rules to follow for disabled people and the penalties provided for following the violation of the articles contained in the decree.

How to start a conversation
Access the website of the relevant municipality, click on the chat at the bottom right of the portal, activate the voice command and formulate your question. The technology is equipped with an intelligent self-learning system so that, based on conversations and interactions with the citizen, it improves his basic knowledge. You can help yourself with automatic suggestions in chat to get a more accurate response.

How to request the service

The Rita virtual assistant can be activated free of charge by public bodies that request it and want to integrate it with their website. To request activation, you must send an email to Bot_Rita@Exprivia.com
