
Needs
In order to align itself with the competition and enrich the functionality of its mobile services, the customer expressed the need to create a Mobile App for Android and iOS terminals, which allows each user to view a set of information relating to the services used. In particular, the creation of the functional areas relating to the user profile was requested, with all the information relating to services subscribed to and usage, the Promotions/Offers that can be activated and support (FAQs, useful links).
Exprivia Solution
After a phase of requirements analysis, the proposed solution involved the development of two distinct modules:
1) a Front End in the hands of end users (Mobile App), created in hybrid technology and intended for Android and iOS operating systems;
2) a Back End, through Exprivia’s proprietary Mobile Orchestrator solution, which provides a layer of mediation and business logic between the Front End and the customer’s existing systems, on which the information resides, making the protocols and data management logics transparent to the end user.
Results
At the end of the project, the App created was published on the Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS) stores, which allows the user to consult information relating to their profile and subscribed services and to receive update news.
The solution also allows company contact persons for communication services to check the behavior of each individual SIM card in their company and to have aggregate information on consumption and costs.
A Campaign Management feature has also been created to alert users, through “push” notifications, on events such as special promotions and dedicated commercial offers.
