Exprivia has implemented an IMS Network Provisioning Gateway that allows the Operator to decouple the commercial and business dynamics related to services and customers from the technical complexity and technological evolution dynamics of the network systems.
Needs
Our customer needed to optimize the management of provisioning flows to the main network elements of its IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network, to better support the continuous evolution of the services offered to both Enterprise and Consumer customers.
Exprivia Solution
Exprivia has implemented an IMS Network Provisioning Gateway that allows the Operator to decouple the commercial and business dynamics related to services and customers from the technical complexity and technological evolution dynamics of the network systems.
The Gateway is able to first apply business logic, to the flows of activation of services and configuration of customer profiles, generated by dealers, customer care and IT systems of the Operator; subsequently, the flows are appropriately directed, according to network logic, to the network elements and databases of the Operator’s IMS network.
Among other features, the Provisioning Gateway implements load balancing, appropriately redistributing customer data on the different network elements of the IMS network (SBC, ENUM, DNS, LDAP) and allows you to manage and control customer migration initiatives between the different elements of the network, preventing situations of overload of the systems and malfunctions.
Results
With the Exprivia Provisioning Gateway, the customer has equipped himself with a powerful tool that allows him to simplify and decouple the development of commercial policies from the complexity and evolution of network equipment.
