Needs<\/h2>\nThe Campania Region is So.Re.Sa. noted the need to undertake the development of their own IT system for the Management of Rare Diseases<\/strong>, operational since 2012, in order to improve efficiency and ensure Campania’s independence from the system currently in use, developed by the Veneto Region. \n\nThe intervention aims both at technological evolution and at the optimization of functions, which have evolved over time thanks to the experience gained in the field.\n\nThe new system represents a strategic step to strengthen regional health governance<\/strong>, aligning with the goal of complete integration with the Sinfonia digital ecosystem<\/strong>.\n

Exprivia Solution<\/h2>\nThe solution designed by Exprivia in full synergy with SoReSa SpA, has created an information system based on a microservices approach.\n\nThis modern and efficient architectural pattern overcomes the limitations of traditional monolithic applications in many respects.\n

    A management system integrated with the entire healthcare ecosystem<\/h3>\nThe management of rare diseases represents a crucial challenge and an opportunity of great value for the clinical sector. To meet this need, Exprivia, in collaboration with SoReSa, has developed an innovative Rare Disease Management System<\/strong>, designed to ensure an efficient, patient-centred approach that fully complies with ministerial and regional directives. \n\nThis system introduces the concept of Taking Charge<\/strong>, designed for patients who wish to continue their clinical journey with the involvement of several specialists. The approach makes it possible to apply the principles of precision medicine<\/strong>, customizing treatments to the specific characteristics of each patient. \n\nDesigned to integrate seamlessly with your existing healthcare infrastructure, Sinfonia<\/strong>, this system not only ensures consistent data management and sharing across the entire healthcare ecosystem, but also ensures full compliance with current regulations. Inspired by the operational best practices of the Veneto Region, the new application combines continuity in processes with an innovative, advanced and challenging structure. \n\nThe new system also supports the systematic collection and registration of rare disease cases within the network, facilitating statistical data analysis and patient monitoring<\/strong>.\n\nWith this innovative platform, Exprivia has created an infrastructure that fully meets the needs of healthcare professionals and aims to radically improve the patient experience. The transition to the new system has provided the Campania Region with an autonomous solution, capable of responding precisely to its specificities, laying solid foundations for a future of excellence in the management of rare diseases. \n

    Results<\/h2>\nThe project represented a decisive step in the management of rare diseases in Campania, paving the way for concrete improvements and offering new and promising future prospects. Despite the significant progress already achieved, there are ample opportunities to further evolve the system, making it even more sophisticated and efficient. \n\nAmong the objectives currently being analyzed and designed, the integration of the system within the diagnostic and therapeutic processes<\/strong> stands out, a fundamental step that, once completed, will make it possible to optimize every single phase of the care pathway, guaranteeing patients increasingly precise, personalized and timely support.\n\nAt the same time, the strengthening of local networks, which has already been launched and is being developed, represents an extraordinary opportunity to ensure truly widespread and efficient management of rare diseases, providing patients with accessible and widespread care throughout the territory. No less important is the creation of a structured communication flow between doctors and specialists<\/strong>, an ambitious challenge that is already at the heart of the design. The implementation of such an interconnection system is essential to ensure a multidisciplinary approach<\/strong> of the highest level, crucial to address the complex needs of rare diseases, often characterized by multi-systemic implications.<\/strong> \n\nThis approach will have a direct impact on the quality of care, ensuring more integrated, effective treatments that respond to the real needs of patients.\n\nIn addition, thanks to BI – Business Intelligence<\/strong> systems, the collection of diagnostic data will be able to enable the identification of patient clusters and the generation of specific indicators<\/strong>.
