It aims to provide concrete implementations related to areas such as predictive maintenance, monitoring and managing the quality of production, products and components, maintenance support using augmented and virtual reality techniques, support for internal logistics, etc.<\/p>\n<p>FINDUSTRY4.0 offers solutions to support digital innovation in Italian industry, which will essentially consist of three components: (1) methodologies, services and ICT solutions for Industry 4.0, (2) knowledge and (3) innovation. The structure of the solutions is therefore geared towards achieving four main objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to continue the evolution and industrialisation of the FIWAREforIndustry platform, enriching it with new functionalities (e.g. the development of new forms of human-machine interaction or specific services for Industrial Analytics);<\/li>\n<li>research and develop innovative technologies to support, facilitate or improve the efficiency of factory processes, such as IoT devices for field data collection, virtual and augmented reality to support activities such as maintenance or work on production lines, industrial analytics, innovative Human-Machine Interfaces, etc.;<\/li>\n<li>based on the aforementioned technologies, develop innovative applications in the key areas of Industry 4.0, such as production optimisation, product quality assessment, predictive maintenance, support for maintenance operations, and support for blue-collar workers;<\/li>\n<li>test solutions in the field at champion industrial plants (identified and made available by partner COMAU), with significant benefits for the local area and SMEs;<\/li>\n<li>develop the IT platform for innovation and collaboration underpinning the National Plan\u2019s Digital Innovation Hubs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exprivia considers the interaction between production and maintenance, and modern maintenance engineering, to be increasingly important: how to plan maintenance activities and monitor their efficiency and effectiveness, how to improve them, how to resolve any issues regarding the internal expertise of the workforce, and how and when to delegate.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, support and maintenance processes will benefit from the latest technological innovations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the definition and implementation of innovative models, algorithms and components for managing information relating to product description and lifecycle (PDM\/PLM), for example for intelligent, context-aware searches of information assets, and for the automation of negotiations along the production chain through transaction management via smart contracts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT The FINDUSTRY4.0 project falls within  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":12437,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[188],"tags":[158,149],"class_list":["post-13879","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-research-projects","tag-hyperautomation","tag-industrial"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.7 (Yoast SEO v27.7) -
