It is a public company created with the aim of guaranteeing the supply of electricity to customers in the protected market.<\/p>\n
The project involving Exprivia concerns the creation of the Information System, aimed at the centralized management of information flows relating to the electricity and gas markets in order to ensure impartiality in its management and non-discrimination between operators. The IIS is characterized by a centralized structure that interacts with operators, guarantees security and timeliness in the management of information flows and promotes the competitiveness of the entire market. <\/p>\n
The project involved the creation from scratch of the hardware and software infrastructure, its system management, as well as the implementation and management of the IT System. After an initial phase of implementation of the Official Central Register (RCU), for both the electricity and gas markets, the main processes envisaged by the Authority (AEEG) were implemented, ensuring safe and reliable interaction between the various market operators. Interaction with operators takes place both through the portal and in A2A mode, guaranteeing adequate service levels for the needs of the different operators, supporting the management of large amounts of data and a very high number of transactions. <\/p>\n
The solution implemented by Exprivia is based on Open Source environments in compliance with the Government’s guidelines for the development of the Information Society. In line with the Open Source policy, the solution also provides for the distribution of free software for application integration with the SII (Communication Port). Exprivia’s response to the customer’s “Rapid Development” needs was the adoption of an Agile approach to software development that refers to the Scrum framework, in full compliance with Quality requirements, also contributing to the achievement of Level 2 CMMI Dev certification. The provision of services is based on best practices and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) standards, with the integrated use of open source tools and main market standards for security, networking and DBMS infrastructures. <\/p>\n
After 5 years of operation, the infrastructure built is able to withstand a load level higher than 300% of the maximum peaks provided for in the tender specifications and at the basis of the calculation of the contract KPIs, in compliance with the contractual SLAs to guarantee the robustness of the solution implemented. The reliability of the solution, recognized by the various stakeholders, has also made it possible to use the IIS infrastructure for purposes other than those of the contract. In fact, the database managed as part of the SII was used as a source of personal data and for the determination of RAI licence fees as required by the 2016 Stability Law. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
