Request information
The Exprivia Big Data technologies enable early identification of potentially fraudulent or risky behaviour by correlating weak signals coming from multiple, heterogeneous sources (logs, transactions, social media etc.).

The effective analysis
The Exprivia systems ensure greater efficacy in defining customer behaviour profiles than the classical profiling and segmentation systems as they conduct the ex-post analysis of greater quantities of historical data. They also use horizontal scalability of the real-time analysis components, broadening of the "timeframe for analysis“ normally used by the common fraud identification systems, inclusion of historical information in the real–time analysis for detecting events and alarms, and the possibility of including social network sources.

The Exprivia security Big Data drivers are:

  • design, creation and management of Information Intelligence solutions using the main market and Open Source tools, and proprietary technologies (DeepKnowledge);
  • selection of widely supported distributions (e.g. Cloudera);
  • use of recognizable open and widely shared standards for the management of information (e.g. JSON, AVRO);
  • identification of open source solutions and/or commercial products that are highly interoperable with the existing infrastructure (e.g. DWH) for a gradual introduction of “Big data” technologies (extension vs. replacement).

The Exprivia Big Data solution is used to effectively manage large quantities of structured and unstructured data coming from heterogeneous sources:

  • social networks (Facebook and Twitter);
  • RSS;
  • bulletins;
  • blogs;
  • mails (header, text and attachments);
  • office (standard and non-standard);
  • pdf files;
  • file OCR;
  • audio traces;
  • disk dumps.

The Big Data solution is based on an open-source framework (Hadoop), which enables the data to be collected and indexed, optimizing the transfer and processing times.

It is also possible to file the data in encrypted mode and limit users' access according to the type of data for which they are enabled and their profile.

The Norma Search application
The Norma Search solution is an application that enables the user to:

  • autonomously search a group of sites, blogs, forums, etc. for information related to a set of user-defined key words;
  • identify, on each web page found, the single portions of text (section of HTML page) in which the concepts searched for are present, associating a percentage indicator of their relevance to these concepts with each section;
  • present the results using a simple web interface or in the form of reports (in PDF, Excel or CSV format, etc.) that can be downloaded directly from the interface or sent by the application via e-mail.
